We took our boys on a tour of the new Draper Temple. They all did really well. They had eveyone park at three different churches which you were assigned to park at. Then we went into the temple for a short movie on Temples and then they bussed us up to the temple. The boys really enjoyed riding the bus. It is a smaller temple. It was very cold but we were inside most of the time. Sheldon and I loved the Celestial room where we had a chance to see the whole family in the mirrors and explain to the boys what this repensents.
Afterwards we asked the boys what their favorite part was. Hunter aswered the whole thing, and the bus ride. Levi's favorite thing was the stairs. He is funny. As you come out of the temple it takes you right to a chapel where they have set up a beautiful display of picutres of temples and of Jesus Christ. They had a map there wiht pins in the places where their was a temple. We were able to show the boys the place where Grandma and Grandpa are serving in Brazil. I was hoping they would have a picture of the temple they are at but they didn't. They also had cookies. They made it really nice for everyone.

How fun! I am so exceited to go, we go in a couple of weeks and my kids are so exceited that they can actually go into the temple.
Levi cracks me up that his favorite was the stairs.

I took the virtural tour at lds.org and downloaded all of the pictures. I think the carpet in the bride's room was one of my favorite as well as the tile in the baptistry. It was about 75 degrees outside when I took the virtural tour, so it wasn't too bad! :)
So excited you got to take your kids through the new temple. A neat family activity. Although I had to laugh at Brady's comment on how warm it was when he took the tour.
Matt and I took the kids a few weeks ago. Gracie's favorite part was the baptismal font! It was a great experience.
