So this isn't like a new years resolution thing, but my work does a wellness program that if you enroll in they give you 200 dollars in December and between Wendy and Me that is 400. Well the first 60 day challenge is to work out for 30 minutes five days a week. So today the challenge started and so I worked out. The boys are use to seeing Wendy work out because she does it everyday, but today when Levi saw me working out he was a little curious. The conversation went like this.
Levi, "Dad, what are you doing?"
Dad, "Working out like what Mommy does."
Levi, "Why"
Dad while lifting up my shirt a little, "To get rid of this fat belly."
AFter 60 minutes of working out (p90x) I was up in my room changing back into my clothes and Levi was still there.
Levi, "Uh, Dad. Your belly is still there."
After 2 hours while in Walmart...I again heard him mention my "fat belly."
So today I learned that at five years old, they are too young to get the joke, yet just the right age to humble you with a sentence.
